Qubool Hai is a Muslim matrimonial platform developed using React Native (mobile app) with a Laravel + MySQL backend. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our services, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data to operate and improve our services:

• Personal Details: Name, gender, date of birth, email address, and phone number.
• Profile Information: Religion, caste, marital status, education, profession, and partner preferences.
• Photos (Upload Only): Users may upload profile images. No camera access is used.
• Optional Identity Documents: PAN, Driving License, Passport, or masked Aadhaar for verification (Aadhaar optional, masked only).
• Technical Data: Crash logs and error reports for app stability.
• Communication Data: Messages and interactions with other users.

We do not collect device ID, contacts, SMS, call logs, OTP messages, or videos. We do not use advertising or tracking identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your user profile.
• Suggest compatible matches.
• Provide customer support and send service notifications.
• Send registration/login details via email using SMTP.
• Verify identity documents (if submitted).
• Improve app reliability, security, and performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or tracking.

4. Permissions & Access

• Gallery/File Upload: For photos or optional ID proof. No camera access.
• Documents (PAN, Passport, Driving License, Masked Aadhaar – optional): Used only for verification.
• Microphone / Call / Location / Contacts / SMS / OTP / Videos: Not used.

5. Third-Party Services & Sharing

• Hosting & Database: Hostinger.
• Email Service: Google SMTP.
• Payment Gateway: PhonePe (for premium plans).
• Backend Framework: Laravel + MySQL.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is shared only for service delivery or legal reasons.

6. Data Security

• Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS).
• Secure storage on Hostinger servers.
• Restricted access by authorized personnel only.
• Regular audits to maintain security.

7. User Control & Deletion

• Edit or update your profile anytime.
• Delete your account through the app or by contacting us.

Deleted accounts are soft deleted first, then permanently removed after backup retention period.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are only for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or government authority. We comply with IT Rules 2021 and applicable Indian data protection laws.
